I have been kicking around the idea of setting up a desktop again instead of using my laptop for sometime now.  I have been looking at various options such as buying a Henge Dock, and wireless keyboard and then just hooking up the laptop to my 23in LCD. I am also trying to weigh in the fact that with a dedicated Mac Mini desktop I would be able to do away with my Linux file server and just run those hard drives via USB.
What do you think? Should I just get a Mini and be done with it or go with the docking route?  Both have their pros and cons and I could use your help to decide.
