I need to take some time and update this site. I have been sporting this theme for too long already. I was speaking with a friend of mine who was also suggesting I try to get back int omy daily postings. I agree with the statement, but alas with Twitter has made me lasy. Why write a huge page long post when I can blurt out whatever I want in 140 Charators or less. Ohh well perhaps I will overcome this writers block and start to update here more often as I once did.

As many of you know I use Twitter quite often, maybe a little too much even. Most of this I can give thanks to TwitterFox since it is always there.
But along with TwitterFox, I still visit the actual twitter site from time to time and when I do these GreaseMonkey scripts spice it up a bit and make it a little more usable.

Interceptor – This GreaseMonkey script lets you see where all of those TinyURL links will actually take you, helps so that you dont get Rick Roll’d or Goatse opening in your browser.

Twitter Friend Name Suggester – When you have many friends this will help auto-complete there name when you are trying to reply to them.

Twitpic Preview – I really don’t use this one that much as most people I know post links to their sites rather than to the images. But when they are posted this will give you an image preview when people post images on TwitPic

Twitter Live Update – This one is pretty neat. It will auto load new tweets when you you are viewing Direct Messages, Replies, Etc.

I am sure there are plenty of other Twitter GreaseMonkey addons out there, but so far these are the ones that make my Twitter experiance much more enjoyable.

I have been trying to figure out why there is such a lack of updates on blogs that I follow, including mine. I am kind of noticing a trend that the people that used to blog a lot seem to have a pretty up2date twitter account. I know I am guilty of not blogging due to my frequent yet unimportant updates on twitter. Is anyone noticing this as well? Do you think that twitter, pownce and systems like those might be somewhat of a downfall to full fledged blogs? I have been dabbling with the idea of actually moving my blog into a sub folder and then just putting up a front page that gets the RSS feeds from my twitter, last.fm, flickr etc and displays those on the front of my site and then just offering a link to my blog.
